They had lost the farmer a while ago, and were now headed to the safest place Napoleon knew of. Shining Sun was not a good name for his pride. He was planning on changing it, and would eventually. Shining Sun was gay...or so he thought. Somebody else may cherish the name, but he sure as hell didn't. The liger looked to see her behind him, and sniffed the ground before continuing on. They were the only two here, nobody else had set foot upon his land since he had done so only a few hours before. The pridelands were considerably large, just as huge as all the rest. Once Arsenic arrived, he spoke, "It's no miracle, but it's not exactly a hell hole either," he commented upon his land, stepping lightly upon it. There were patches of dirt, some grass, and some extremely long yellow grass further away, closer to the east.

Arsenic followed him.
watching him sniff the ground she rolled her orbs.
why didn't he just sniff the air?
she stepped on the hot dirt ground.
dirt flew up with each step.
it needed to rain there.
she easily avoided rocks and holes.
panting a little she caught up to him and looked at him.
"yea"
she had no emotion in those tones.
right now she was hot,thirsty and tired.
so pretty much not to be messed with.
stopping at the tall grasses she sat down in what little shade there was.
looking at napoleon she smiled at him.
she got up and padded at him.
nuzzling his nape she purred a little then licked his cranium.
winking at him she walkied back to the grass and layed down. |

He looked at her, watching her roll her eyes. The reason he hadn't sniffed the air was that any unsheathed claws would have left marks upon the ground, if the trespasser was preparing to fight. Also, the disguise scent on the pads of a trespasser would wear off after a while of walking on them, and usually either take back it's normal smell, or the smell of where they had been. He almost melted when she nuzzled and licked him, not sure if she was putting on an act or not. He shook himself slightly, wondering about a dry creek that was not too far away. It hadn't filled up yet, there hadn't been rain for several weeks. And, due to the lack of water and trees on his land, the drought hit the hardest here. "So, do you plan on staying, or do you plan to find a different sanctuary?" he asked her, eyes soft as he sat and licked his paws. There were several umbrella trees in the distance, and a few dry bushes even closer by. The tall grass wasn't a good idea, extremely flamable, especially during the hotter and drier days. He stood up, and looked at the rising dirt on the ground. He took a few steps, heading toward his trees, eager to get to the shade.

Arsenic got up and followed him.
rolling her orbs she sat down next to him.
she was growing more and more tired.
eyelids were beging to slid shut.
she spoke in tired tones.
"i will stay here for now."
she yawned and strechted.
jowls opened wide,revealing large canines and a long tonuge.
snapping her mouth shut she sat up and looked at him.
there was no place to sleep or rest or head beside the hot,dirt ground.
she didn't want to put her head there so she thought for a second then smiled.
laying her cranium upon napoleons nape she purred a little.
she was very tired but did not sleep yet,only closed her orbs. |

He lay down, and watched her do the same, and his heart almost choked him as he felt her rest her head against his nape. He held his eyes shut, trying to keep himself from laughing victoriously. Napoleon simply smiled, resting his own head upon his paws, blinking several times. His tail curled around his large body, not tempted to wrap it around hers, afraid of the outcome. He found himself in love with her, yet fearing her at the sametime. He didn't know what he could do to impress her, or to make her love him. So, he didn't do anything, instead decided to get to know her a little better before making any moves.

arsenic felt him breath more rapidly.
she could tell he was intimidated by her and she liked that.
for he should be scared of her yet she was not all evil.
she was also a flirt.
wrapping her tail around his she smiled.
"goodnight love"
notice she had not said my love but she indeed said love.
licking him slowly she purred and put her head back down.
she was flirting with him for she had gone into heat whilst hiding.
but she hid that from him.
closing her orbs she drifted alseep. [/center] |

He wasn't aware that she was in heat, and he calmed down when she said love. It was only flirting, he had to win her over. Not just flirting, he wanted love. He returned her licks slowly, and smiled, noticing that she had fallen asleep. He dropped his head and allowed himself to fall asleep as well, eyes closing, breath slow and even. He fell asleep with a small smile on his face, but then his expression eventually turned content, not overly happy.

-a couple of hours later-
Arsenic got up off of him.
looking at him she smiled.
wow was she nuts when in heat.
streatching she let out a silent yawn.
giving him a nuzzle under the neck and licking him on his belly.
she left to hunt.
stalking a zebra she licked her jowls and got low to the ground.
sneaking like a ghost she got a couple of yards away.
the stripes helped in camoflouge.
springing into the air she landed on its back,crushing its spine.
she ripped at its throat.
then she drug it back to napoleon.
sitting next to him she nudged him to eat.
then she started to eat. |

He felt a nuzzle on his neck, and then a lick upon his belly. Straightening up, he watched as Arsenic walked away, and tilted his head to the side. When she brought back some kill, he stretched and thanked her with a sleepy nod. Slowly, he began to eat, however didn't eat often in the morning, for he got full easily. His tail flicked as he stretched his hind legs now, standing up for a second, and yawning. "Good morning," he said quietly, nipping her on the ear as he sat down, his own ears flat against his head.

Arsenic arsenic smiled at the nip.
looking among the face of her so called savior she nodded.
watching him eat she laughed quietly to herself.
she herself almost full.
ripping one last piece of tender meat from the hind quarters she stopped.
her stomach full and content.
orbs flickered a little.
she normally wasn't this happy,as a matter of fact she was never happy but when it came to mating season and good brutes she tended to be a bit flirty and kind.
she sat up and nipped him on his hind leg.
a playful,seductive gleam in her orbs.
shaking her faintly striped pelt she walked around him.
purring softly she rubbed her cranium on his nape.
she laid down on her back.
putting her head on his belly she looked up at him.
a seductive,taunting expression on her beautiful face.
she didn't know if it was just her in heat or real but...
she might actually like him,possibly even love.
watching him,still on his belly she licked his lips a little.
a grin on her velvets.

He was surprised at her actions. Once he had rolled over, she immediately had laid her head upon his belly, and he had simply smiled. Maybe she did really like him. The thought brought a smile to his lips as he looked at the sky for a moment, and then leaned his head over to place a few licks upon her head. She seemed happy, which made him a little happier. He tapped her playfully on her shoulder, and only then did he figure out that she was in heat. His hormones didn't react immediately, actually, they hadn't reacted at all. The scent hit him like a heat wave, quick and not at all gradual. If she was in heat, she certainly couldn't be pregnant. The forcebreeding couldn't have been successful. No longer did Napoleon feel angry as he lay against the ground, tail flicking to and fro. His heart beat was slow, and he was actually very calm as he lay there, very content, his face neither too happy nor too cold. "What exactly are you trying to tell me, Arsenic?" he said, his tone slightly flirtatious, yet a tad more curiousity than flirt.

she wanted to play a little,tease him.
"well if i do you have to figure it out."
although she knew he knew.
it was just fun taunting him.
standing up she gave him another lick on the lips.
then she strutted over to another tree.
when half way there she turned her cranium and winked at him.
then she went back to the tree adn sat down.
she was licking her paw and waiting.

ic; Napoleon watched her as she walked away, and got to his feet. He stood for a moment, wondering about what he should do. He approached, and circled her, pressing so tight against her that their bodies were touching. He purred softly as he began to lick her neck, slowly yet affectionately. "Walk me through," he said, his voice low.

she walked around him,tauntinbg him with her scent and body.
pressing right against him she nipped him.
"then i do this"
she licked his maw and pushed a paw on his chest.
nipping him seductively she laughed.
she was teasing him.
"then i taunt you a little more.making you more and more excited and happy"
she walked to his side and licked from his nape to his hind legs.
then she began to nip everywhere.
"oh then i roll over and let you do what you wish"
she smiled at him.
giving him one last nip towards his "area" she rolled to her back.
she awaited his reaction to her taunting playful ways. |

She was right, he was growing very excited. Especially when she landed a nip to his "areas", which immediately made his hormones react, eyes light up, and some fur stand on end. Chills ran through his body as she spoke to him, explaining everything without much detail, however he understood. As she rolled onto her back and exposed her belly, he wondered what he should do. Gently he rested himself upon her belly, licking gently at her chest, then going down to her belly, nipping her playfully. The heat scent was growing too much for him, so finally he stood up (after a series of nipping and licking), and attempted to spin her over, ready to mount her. His heartbeat was quick, however it didn't show. His breath was very calm, and he opened his mouth to pant as he awaited her reaction, standing stalk still.
